Anyone with an r1200 gsa with full akra

Hi, Can anyone confirm if the Akrapovic full system with the twin cans fits the adventure with the bmw alloy panniers.Thanks John:nenau
 
Akra System

No prob, fits a treat, loads of clearance as the twin pipes are slimmer than the one original can.

One of the tailpipes will soot-up the rear cross-bar suport on the pannier rack but isn't a problem IMHO.

ps. Sounds lovely and gives a big mid-range power boost.

Just ordered this system for my GSA. Most reports say it is one of the louder options but not too loud. Can any owners of this system comment please?

IMPO its one of the loudest systems you will find for the 1200's. :eek:

Personally I liked the sound but if the noise is going to be an issue you may have to reconsider.
 
Pipes can be loud without being annoying. It all depends on volume throughout the rev range and resonance. Trying to find a Youtube clip but I'm struggling.
