AOL problem

A friend has her broadband service with AOL and suddenly she cannot print from her browser. She can print from a word document etc. and also can print a test sheet from AOL. Nothing else will print. The printer software and AOL software have both been reloaded and still nothing. Any ideas?

Yes I know it's a crappy provider

No she can't change because to get a good deal she's commited herself to a years contract

If her crappy provider allows it

Go to the website of the Printer manufacturer and from the support/download section get the latest driver for the printer.

Uninstall the previous one from add/remove programs and then install the new one.

I don't care how good a deal your friend got with AOL anything that ties you in to that bunch of shitbags can never be described as a good deal

Had the same problem today with my HP 1200 printer,
The Director wouldn't open, turns out it's Internet Explorer 7's fault
Quick fix>>
ALT and Space >little window comes up>> minimise that and Director appears in task bar.
apparently IE7 will not accept the director panels small dimensions
