I received an Aoocci C3 yesterday and connected my Samsung S21 phone. I then linked my Sena S10 helmet system and was able to listen to the apps playing on the C3. However, when I inserted earplugs, simulating my setup when riding, the volume penetrating the earplugs was very low. The phone, C3, and Sena volume were set to max.

I've not tried riding yet, but I believe I won't have a sufficient volume to hear music and route directions, with bike and wind noise. The volume seems lower than what I experience with a similar setup using a Nav 5 or Nav 6. Has anyone experienced similar low volumes or found a way of increasing the volume significantly?

Has anyone on here started using one of these C3s on a bike with a bluetooth helmet system and earplugs, and is the volume good? For me, the volume is so low as to be unusable. It would be good to get positive feedback with users getting good volume. If other users are successful, with sufficient volume, then maybe there's a problem with my setup, but so far I've not detected it. Thanks.

I had something very similar and found that the Sena App also has a separate volume to the phone

So now I have to worry about

Sena app volume
Phone volume
Spotify Volume

As for me (Samsung S24+) they are all separately controlled

Hi, thanks for the comment. When you say the Sena App, do you mean the Sena App on the phone or do you mean the Sena device on the helmet? I looked at the Sena app but didn't find any volume parameter. I have turned the volume on the Sena 10S device to max. Ta

Let me connect my helmet and take a screenshot for you

The volume is in the app

Hi, I really appreciate the work you've done here. Firstly, I didn't have this Sena App, only an old(red) one. But even with the latest app, it seems our settings options are different. Probably because your device and firmware are more recent. My firmware is up to date, but I don't have your volume icon.

I've played around with the other settings, and the only one that alters the volume is the Audio boost, which is now on. Sitting here on my couch, I can hear music and Google Maps guidance, but I'm not convinced it will be loud enough while riding. That'll be the next test. Thanks again.

Sorry we couldn't sort it so best of luck

In parallel with trying to sort this out, I had ordered a set of HD speakers for my Sena 10s. Since fitting the new speakers, the volume and clarity are very acceptable. So, the issue is resolved. Thanks for the advice and help.
