Carpuride W903 Wireless Carplay

Looking to use in my old Audi as maps are now 11 years old and I’m finding my iPhone screen appears to be shrinking every year.
Found this on Amazon as some £350 cheaper than having a unit professionally fitted, anyone use this or has similar?
I’d want it primarily for google maps, Spotify and podcast app.
Thanks (y)

@Monsieur Jeremy you will not get a decent sound out of built-in speaker when attempting to enjoy Spotify. You might be able to link it to your Audy infotainment system, via bluetooth and your phone vial local wifi to Carpuride. I'd sooner spend a little bit more cash and bring the car up to modern standards, it'll also be more salable further down the line.

A decent Sony or a Pioneer system from hallfrauds will do the trick and will utilise existing speakers in the car.

I have been umming and arring about Alpine Halo 9 or 11 for a few years now for my work van. Not least as should I ever need to check alternative route to a job, I can't be told off by the copper that I was fiddling with my phone, whilst driving. Still need to bite the bullet.

I can highly recommend units on offer from XTrons.
I’ve used one in the last 3 or 4 cars I’ve had now.
They are designed as direct drop in replacements for your existing head unit.

They run Android natively, so pretty much any app that will run on Android can be installed on the head unit, so your favourite Sat Nav app would install natively, as would the Spotify app etc.
The only thing to note is that the head unit would require some kind of Internet connection for these to work. I switch on my personal hotspot from my phone as I have an unlimited data plan with it. But most of XTrons head units can also make use of a separate dedicated SIM card if preferred.

I believe they also support Apple Car Play, although I never bother using that aspect of them

Here’s my XTrons unit that I’m currently using in my Merc E Class S211

It runs Waze perfectly.
I even discovered a few weeks ago that I can remote play my PlayStation 5 on it over a 4G connection relatively well. Completely unnecessary & extremely geeky but hey, it works :D :D

Oh, I also have full Sky TV running on it over IPTV. Again, not entirely necessary but it is a cool gimmick.

The possibilities are endless with these systems :thumb2

I bought one to use in my VW UP GTI. It works briliiantly. It mirrors everything on your phone and when i press the aux button on the dash the spotifyvsound comes through the cars speakers, as do phone calls. I really rate it. I bought it on facebook from car tablet.

Just bought the W903 Carpuride.
Looked at the car tablet offerings but £40 off the carpuride from Amazon sealed the deal.
Thanks for all the input and comments and I’ll feedback in due course.
