I've been a couple of times its organised by the Wrong way round actor's dad, in aid of a Children's charity.

It always makes our local paper after the event cause they take a pic of all of the bikers from the upstairs window of the Inn.
I think it happens in March or early April.

Are you a keen biker looking to plan a weekend trip for 2011? Why not raise some funds for CHAS whilst riding through some of the most scenic parts of Scotland. Riders from across Scotland are invited to meet up in Applecross on Saturday 18 June.
There will be a group leaving from Crieff on the Saturday morning and a meeting point at lunchtime in Tyndrum, with the main meeting point for most riders in Applecross itself, an absolutely stunning location.
On the Saturday evening you can enjoy the entertainment that is kindly being provided at The Applecross Inn.
On the Sunday lunchtime there is a Barbeque at the Inn when there will be a collection for CHAS and a chance to hear about how the money raised will be used.
Accommodation is available at the Applecross Inn. The rate for Bed and Breakfast is £50 pp/pn. To book please call 01520 744262. Further information on the Inn can be obtained at www.applecross.uk.com/inn.

I heard that many of the locals still live in caves and even eat each other when times are hard.
