i am well impressed with the bike with these boxes on . They are extremely neat and still gobble a massive amount of luggage. + solid.

I may live on a small island but it still has more class than your slightly bigger one.

And France and beyond is 90 mins away,as opposed to the back of beyond......and beyond


But I'd still love to do the Nullaboor etc in Oz.



Fitted my Aqualine tank this afternoon-strangely it seems I managed a good job as it ain't leaking and looks quite good-will post a pic tomorrow when not totally fcuked.

Looks mean. Does this mean we'll be able to go more than 90 miles in Europe now before you are lookin for juice

Think a paintjob would be hard but I'm going to check at the local bodyshop.

bloody nice.

..ive heard this about issue about paint and stickers, something to do with the plastic of the tank breathing

not sure ive enough brain cells to figure that one out

i thought so but didnt want stick my foot in my mouth did you paint the rear panels then or purchace some black ones ?

helpfull dudes at avuss i shall have to take motherduck up there to see them again in the new year

in case your wondering motherduck is the name my katoom is affectionately known as over on xrv so much so she even got black reflective decals

If the tanks are made of polypropylene they can't be painted as fuel vapour passes throough the material and reacts with the paint.

If they are nylon paintings possible.

Fer Dog's sakes get some bars round the bottom of those tank lobes.....I've seen two cases on our trips where the tank has nearly been holed when the bike's gone down the road...it sits there grinding away on the lobe and there's practically bugger all between the tarmac and the fuel

The black bars look ace too, though I guess now you're doing a passable imitation of a supertanker, You'd have to get them modded to fit

did you have the standard HB crash bars if so i sure its a relatively easy mod to make them fit thus saving yourself a fair few beer tokens
