Arai helmets...

My first lid was a Shoei Raid. I had an Autocom headset fitted which ended up making the fit very tight over the ears, to the point where I had to get it modified to fit. After a while I started to get headaches due to the lid being tight across the forehead . After x3 years I decided to go for an Arai and purchased the Arai Viper GT from the London bike show at Alexandra Palace last year. Hein Gericke were selling the lid for £399 but I managed to pick mine up for £320 at the show . Best decision I ever made, fits perfectly is relatively quiet and looks great. I went for the one with the Union flag and cheques on the side. The other one is the new design available this year. Stuck a picture on cos I thinks it's cool...

Comments as to the fit are not criticisms of Arai or Shoei - that's just the shape your head is.

Just because the Arai/Shoei fit your bonce - doesn't help anyone make a decision about helmet purchase.

Just buy the one with the design that appeals
