I want an arai tour x . how much shall i pay - they seem to go for about £300 Does anyone know of cheaper deals.

Ive seen a couple on ebay for £200, in XS and Small, from reputable dealers, I think with the new version 3 coming out, there will be bargains galore :thumb

I bought mine from John Groombridge WWW.JWG.CO.UK Internet site does not work well with firefox and prices are on application; but I paid £60 less than list price in July last year
It is in East Sussex but they do mail order - good people to deal with

Another vote for the new Shoei Hornet DS. Shorter snout and peak for better airflow/less turbulence + pinlock visor insert so NO misting. £280 at Customlids.

Tour-X is so last year daaahling...

Arai seem to fit my head the best.
I need a large and prefer the aluminium colour..
thanks for the offer of the small but wouldnt fit.sorry

Best try one on first, if you havent already. Tour X sizes are usually one size smaller than what you would normally take on another Arai.

For example: Im normally an Arai Xtra Large, but a Tour-X in Large is plenty big enough for me.

Cheers,

Mike

The shoei looks a nice bit of kit :thumb The visor shop is doing a free oxford oximiser with new shoei's in January as well...

It is a nice bit of kit. Done about 200 miles with mine and I'm impressed with it. My dealer is'nt doing the free charger deal but I got some cash knocked off.

Cheers Stuart:thumb

I gave my 3year old one to one of the Mechanics on Endurohimalaya and was able to replace it via E Bay . There is a Guy trading as tokyo trader who sells Arai helmets at a big discount £195 from memory ,he also can sell you a black visor as thet come from Tokyo!! I,ve had 2 helmets from him and excellent service:thumb

I second that. I've got a Tour X and it definately feels bigger than my other Arai (err Condor I think). both are Large.

That Shoei looks tasty!

Hope I get to see one at the London Bike show ..
