I'm thinking about getting one of these as Infinity are doing £90 off at the moment. Does anyone have one? What's it like? I currently have an Arai Chaser but it's had an accident!:blast

I want to use an Interphone F4 with it; does anyone else have this combo?

Dont have the F4 but do have TourX3......Nice and light has great ventilation along with peak which offers some protection from the sun.
Had mine 18 months or more now and am very happy with it.

TourX

Had my Tourx over two years now.

Really pleased with it and there are some really good prices around these days.

The Shoei equivalent (Hornet DS) is also worth a gander as I understand they are quite a bit quieter than the TourX :thumb2

I've used one for 18 months now, and very pleased with it. Arai's seem to fit my odd shaped head perfectly, so have stuck with them.

I've been using a scala G4 BT unit recently, and it fits snugly and flushly to the base rim of the lid, and no issues with speaker or mic position @ all.

100% happiness from this user....:D

Damn, I was hoping you lot would say it's rubbish, so I can save some money!:blast

Reading a few reviews online, and a few people are saying the peak causes their head to be ripped back at speed. Anyone had these issues?

Personally, I really like mine, I had an original Tour X and liked that, this year I replaced it after five years of constant use.

The new helmet has a slightly redesigned peak and it works a lot better.

The only minus is that it's a bit of a faf changing the visor, it only takes a few minutes but it needs a screw driver etc.

I also use a Bluetooth headset with mine and can easily make a phone call while on the motorway.

Hope some of this helps?

Cheers

Mark

At high speed on the motorway i find i get a bit of buffeting, but for everyday use its a good helmet. Good safety feature of the removable cheek pads in case of an accident, for easy removal.

Oddly i've tried Arai helmets on in the past such as the rx7 but wouldn't fit properly on my head, the tour x fits well.

I`ve been using my Tour X for a couple of years and had no issues with it trying to rip my head off, nor do I find it particularly noisy. I have an Asrto as well and I would say there is little difference noise wise. I actually prefer the Tour X visor removal to the usual Arai system. Less chance of breaking something! The peak is brilliant this time of year with the low sun.

I've a Tour X3 with Interphone F3 - same fitting as the F4. Yes, fits my head. Only put the visor down when it rains heavily. Any other time I don't get wind/rain in from behind the GSA screen with a Wunderlich deflector on top - set as low as possible. (I'm 6'4") As above, yes the peak is handy in low sun.

Over rated and over priced ,read the sharp tests for saftey issues .

Much better helmets around for nearly half the price

x lite

x lite x551 brilliant lid internal dark visor comes with fog insert and all the speaker holes are cut out inside ready to fit flat speakers . its quiet and the peak lets the airflow through so it dont tear ya head off . gearicks was doing black ones for 244 quid i love mine
