We did a similar ish trip in May 2008. We went from Newcastle to Bergin and rode up to NordKapp, down through Lapland to Helsinki, across to Talinn by ferry, through Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, France and back to UK and then home to Ireland.
When we were in Scandanavia it was mostly snowcovered.

Bet you enjoyed the tour through my nature. I'm born and grown at the mainland inside the Lofoten islands, and just can't understand why I left this nature that feeds you with its presence.

This is about 600 M over the sea, and it's wide, open space where you feel you fly driving over it.
