Hi, I'd like to change the locks on my ard cases so they're more like standard pannier locks all under the same key as opposed to padlocks. Does anyone know of any products that would be appropriate? Ideally I can just unbolt these and then bolt on the new ones. I've attached a picture showing the current setup, it's the same on the front and back. (Excuse the stickers, picking them off 1 day at a time)

Protex supply most of those type of fasteners but I don't know if they can supply "keyed alike" clasps in 4's or 6's.

the ones on mine are made by Pinet but can't find them for sale anywhere

drop Roger a line he may still have some kicking around the workshop

I wanted some new inner bags and although he's officially stopped doing panniers he still had some in stock so got to be worth a try for latches

Hi Ian

I contacted Roger and he was very helpful, gave me the contact details of a Pinet supplier so it's all in hand. How recently did you get bags from him?

Thanks

Lee

only a couple of months ago

my old ones were getting tatty and I'd originally asked for advise on where to have them repaired and he just happened to have new ones in :)

who's the Pinet supplier? could be useful for the future

How much did they set you back? I wouldn't mind a couple. The supplier is called J&S supplies in Aberwyswyth.
Waiting to hear back on a price now. I also found some on eBay too.

them's the babies

one word of warning, when they say 'keyed alike' they really mean it, every set I have seen have all used the same key! I've got a bag of 92201 keys on my desk...

bags were £50 for the pair

That's okay, I don't really keep anything valuable in my panniers. Plus they have padlock holes if need be. I'll email him and see what he says.
