To add a bit of spice I have amended day's 1 route.
I was not particulary happy that the route I had created had us apparently exiting a motorway via a fuel station. I had a quick look on Google Earth, whilst it looked OK'ish it was not worth a chance.
Rather than risk a Garmin glitch, I have done what I should have done in the first place, and taken us off the A26 at junction 9.
New route attached.
To amend for my late sins I have done the full day one route out in Excel, too.
Cheers, Richard

Wessie has of course stolen a march on us and is now sunning himself sur la cote du sud....
....I meanwhile have got to start getting organised, following a ludicrous hour or more on the phone to AA European Breakdown. To cut a looooong story short, they had never sent me my renewal papers... but I had paid for it.... No trace on their records. Whilst they hunted, AA customer services (ha, bloody, ha) SHUT!!
So, I was no further forward....
The sales office was still open, but they could not access current customer files....
....So to find out what my policy number was I was forced to call AA Emergency in France and pretended that I had broken down.....
After a bit of hunting they managed to call me back.... with my policy number.... Oh happy day, oh happy day....
Heaven, it seems, really does help those who help themselves.
