just back from 6 days up here, weather very good, nice and dry, good fishing and the scenery is awesome.Took the A861 from the Corran Ferry through Strontian to Salen,Acharacle and then the cottage at Invergegie.did about 200 miles round the peninsula in total including a trip to Mallaig, the scenery on this run was breathtaking and made up for the fact that theres nothing in Mallaig.Next day was a run to Ardnamurchan lighthouse where the views over Rum,Eigg,Coll,Tiree and Skye were unbelievable.this took 50 minutes to cover 25 miles on a single track road but i would recommend it to anyone. Nice run back down today where Glencoe and Glen Orchy were as beautiful as ever. Unfortunately not got any pictures to download but if anyone down South wants somewhere different for a week its well worth the visit to the peninsula where every corner provides different views
