Are all Batteries the same size?

Today I going to pass by my spares shop to get a new battery for the 1150. The original refuses to come back to life after endless charging.

Just wondering - if all after market batteries are the same size? I'm not buying an original again and wanted to avoid going back and forward to change.

I've tried searching but no joy.

Any help appreciated.

They should be the same size per given amp/hour rating but the terminal posts are likely to vary greatly in shape and location.

Another pitfall is that for a given amp/hour rating,some will have a much lower cold cranking current capacity and recovery rate.

Note down the specification of yours along with its dimensions and terminal arrangement,then look in the accessory catalogues.

Or find a battery suppliers rather than a bike shop.
