Are the side stands on 1150 GS and GSA the same?

If I wanted to could I use a GS stand on a GSA (I am lengthening for 21" wheel anyway).

Not by much - The ADV side stand is less than half an inch longer than a standard GS.

Anyhow, the plan moves on. Anyone know if they are solid or hollow inside, anyone ever cut one open? If hollow, what is the diameter of the "hole"?

Still after a side stand for a 1150 GS or GSA if anyone has one.

They're solid, just use 3 HD self tappers.
I've one 1150 and one on my lady's 640 Dakar
