. On the restart the maps are very slow to come on line and very slow on scrolling in and out.
and the mounting is far superior to anything tomtom have, the main reason for me buying the 660 in the first place. All in all very pleased apart from the initial niggles.
Got myself one yesterdayYou may bring the unit into test mode by holding (for a few seconds) and then releasing the battery symbol. You will among a lot of things find the battery charge info. Not easily accessable, but it is there![]()
The only indicator that I have while the 660 is charging is that it is in chargeI don't have a charging indicator on my Zumo 600? What does it look like?
This has been bugging me as I never know if its actually charging...
I'd say go for it, all the "youth problems" seems to be solved....and i still don't know if i should buy one or not![]()

sod it!
despite the price going up and my ongoing uncertainty, i have bought a 660![]()
Good luck with it, it is quite frustrating the fact the bluetooth is shite, but once it's working it's spot on. I had to dig out a really old phone because it's doesn't like the new Nokia's![]()
i don't intend using the bluetooth, but i thought i read it will connect to an iphone if i change my mind.
Hi Cookie, I'm also on verge of getting a 660. You say you're not going to use Bluetooth, so what earphone set up will you use ? I use moulded ear plugs at present, which I like, so looking at maybe fitting a speaker in my helmet and going "wired"
Where do get your 660 from , if you don't mind my asking ?

did i read somewhere that audio bluetooth from a zumo is mono? big prize for stupidity for whoever signed off on that if it's true![]()
