Had to remove the air box from the bike today, nothing difficult, its a job ive done several times before without hassle.

Only this time i've managed to snap the hose tail off the bottom of the air box, where the breather hose connects from the crank case.

Any suggestions on how i can fix this? it doesn't look like gluing the broken hose tail back on will be sufficient.

Second thought is to drill a hole in the plastic where the hose tail would be, and cut a thread in there, and then insert a threaded tube (probably a bolt with a hole drilled up the middle and the head cut off, that i can then put attached the hose to.

Any other suggestions? Or does anyone have a spare air box lying around they don't want?

A scottoiler type spigot may work if you can find similar in the right diameter. I think the ones on their site are too small, but you may find a plastic plumbing piece you could adapt?
