As a matter of interest ......

50 hits and no answers - you might want to post in the airheads section as I suspect the riders who might comment may not be watching this section.

Note I am not sure those bikes come up too often for sale but I could be wrong

A lot depends upon the spec and quality of the work done.If the motor has been tuned, by whom and to what extent etc. I think the price being asked for is OK for what on the surface looks like a nicely done bike,as long as it is not requiring any major work.

The unpainted OEM protection bars, side stand which is way to short, lack of indicators, silencers which probably dont, etc, etc, send me a message that it probably isn't quite ready for everyday use.

Or any other other sort of use which requires legality.

It just doesn't have the patina of a well fettled and used bike.

It isn't that hard to fling a pile of cash at a pile of junk and end up with something that looks passable in a photograph.

But it requires a different level of skill to get it all working as well as a stock bike, never mind a well fettled stocker.

And given that the price is two or three times that of a reasonable stock bike, you would want a test ride and receipts for a pile of mechanical work before you parted with that sort of cash.

A blue framed large tank GS850 was sold a year ago here in Malaysia for about 10k pounds, it was owned by a local bike dealer, had been to Tibet, and done a London - Kuala Lumpur trip, and many around asia trips, it was in first class condition.

I know thats not what you asked....but just fyi.
