I went to see him at Hatfield Peverel last Wednesday - a top night, up to his usual standard. Prepare to be offended!

Ah bollix to it - They want an extra quid even if you collect from the box-office...bit rich when it's a fiver elsewhere....

£18.50 a feckin ticket??

I like a show..but FFS?

18.50 sounds about right

CB= 3K per night but no kissing
BW (organiser) = 1K in his sky
Venue = small handful of nelson's say a monkey
Technology everyone needs some of that = 1K
general expenses like coke or other soft drinks to wet the whistle of the performer and get him in the mood to talk that's another monkey I guess
Hotels room...? holiday inn is a couple of ponies with scran thrown in...

what you got? about 6K divided by 18.50 = 324.3 people to break even....

Well, I'd guess at about 400... but there were 6 actors and a really clever folding/expanding set.
I'm not one for plays, but it was enthralling.

touring or static show? I'm not much for theatre either... bit too high brow...
