the venue will cost a fixed amount it'll provide the crew, marketing to attract punters like yourself and kit as a single charge. the producers will have to sign a contract to that effect that they pay the venue if the show flops....
it's a 500 seater and the sell 400 tickets per night plus 2 matinee performances one of with is a review and half the tickets are given away to paper the venue.
the costs actors.... with a week rehearsal and built up at the venue
6x 150x 21= £18,900
venue 14,000 for the 2 weeks
Crew, Dressers, stage hand etc. £4,750
total expected costs £40,000.00
capacityx costs x days 400x8x21= 67,200
the producers walk away with about £20K not bad for putting on a play.....
not like real work is it....
