Hello all,
I've read all of the posts to do with the Autocom but I'm still a bit confused and was hoping for a bit of advice on a couple of things before I start installing.
I have bought myself a kit300 duo(half price!!) and a puxing radio with the battery eliminator pack. I've read a lot about ground loop and how a nosie filter is needed but if I were to connect the earth cables of both the autocom and the radio back to the same point would this cure any interference problems?
The other question I have is about connecting up the radio, will the basic kenwood cable do? I was hoping to use a PTT button on the handlebars but I don't know if I like the autocom button with the velcro. I was going to try making one myself but I can't find any decent waterproof switches.
