Autocom and the LC ADV

The obvious place to mount the Autocom unit is under the back seat which will do for now but...
Does anyone have any good suggestions as to the best place to pick up power from ?

It seems that the usual tap into the rear brake light can cause canbus issues

Any help or abuse gratefully recieved

Mine is the 2013 GS LC I have mounted my Autocom super pro avi system and my Kenwood radio in the space under the pillion seat, once it's all in there is no space left but it will all fit. As to power, I decided not to cut into the bikes wiring so I ran shrink wrapped power cables under the bike plastic and broke into the power supply to the Sat Nav system which comes from the auxiliary socket (not the small cigar lighter one) which is above the right Hand radiator under the instrument cluster.
