I have an Autocom Active Plus unit and the BTM-02A Bluetooth unit.

The advice on the web for connecting these two units is:

Active Plus – Connect using BT-203 black into Aux 1 with link Disabled. Yellow into Aux 2. It will be Stereo

I have BT-203 but I'm stuck with what link to disable. The power lead connector has 2 links (poor photo!)

Once I have this sorted how do I pair the unit with the phone?
I can't find any instructions for the BT unit, any ideas?

Thanks.

Autocom Help

Hi
In the past when I have had any Autocom problems/queries:blast
I have always found Sam at Chainspeed to have the knowledge/skill and above all else, the answers to my stupid questions :beerjug:
Try Sam or failing that you could phone Autocom.
Sam wins for me

Sam was extremely helpful, sent me the image explaining the link and set me straight on the pairing method. Top man!

Sam is an Ex Autocom employee and I have dealt with him at Chainspeed for about 6 years, always got great advice on Autocom and comms gear in general.

Clarification on what this sheet is for

Hi All,

Just to clarify that this instruction sheet is for fitting the link, this was ONLY required for the old bluetooth module (Part 1273) for the 2007-2009 systems.

The new bluetooth module (BTM-02A) requires this link to be removed (if fitted) on all 2007-2009 Autocom systems including the Active Plus & Super Pro AVi. Use this info sheet for the location of the link in order to remove it, snip it or de-solder if your hands are steady enough.

Any confusion, please email or call me, [email protected]. 01994 484428.
