Sorry this may appear a very simple :blast question but I've just fitted the autocom unit on the bike and now I'm looking to fit the microphone, etc. in the helmets (Arai).

However, looking at the diagrams it appears that the connection should on on the LEFT of the helmet while the connections I have on the bike are on the right. Does it matter if I swap the helmet fittings over to the right side?

No, I have four lids all with the cable and connections on the right, just go ahead and do it your way:oonyack:oonyack

I have always fitted them on the left ... 2 reasons ... you get on the bike from the lefthand side ... and it keeps the left and right channels of your music the right way round...

We normally fit everything on the left hand side so in theory its your non throttle hand in case you need to make any adjustments. Mounting the loom on the right will not really make any on the stereo side of the headset btw.
