OK I want to install an autocom unit on the bike so I can make use of my PMR radio when out with Ms Cheeks and was wondering where is the best place to make a connection for a switched live feed?

Any suggestions or solutions gratefully accepted. :aidan

Just want to check, is the auxiliary socket switched or permanently live? :nenau

Permanent - you don't want to fit it there :blast

Why not take it from the rear indicator which runs down the underside of the top rail of the rear subframe? That's where mine used to be fed from but its now taken from somewhere up under the tank (I think!).

Ooops! Right will look for an alternative including your suggestion :thumb

My 2p

Splice into the feed to the brake light switch. Power on/off with ignition and the kill switch.
