autocom mic in sys 5

Can any of you let me know how you have installed your boom mic for the Autocom in your Sys 5. I've just had my Sys 4 replaced under warranty and now have the Sys 5 but it's more akward to get the boom mic fitted.

I have the autocom boom mike in my system 5. for a truly good fit you need to remove the cheek pad and fit the flattened tappered end over the top of the cheek pad, thin end facing inward. You'l need a small torx driver to remove the cheek pad.

howz it going, ye I remember. Did you buy the Auto com part you tried?

I did, I'm tryin to get it fitted into SWMBO's helmet which doesn't have removeable pads. I have nearly got it all in but the reception seems a bit intermittent . Work (and canadian relatives visiting) are getting in the way, but hopefully I'll get a look at it on Thursday
