Anyone out there had problems with Nokia phones and autocom bluetooth??
I have Autocom Super Pro with bluetooth module and have had a few problems using it with my Nokia 5800:
Phone pairs fine with Autocom - although automatic pairing is unreliable and usually have to pair manually each time.
Can receive calls fine - volume is good (almost too loud - ring makes me jump every time!), auto answer fine.
When I try to make a call (when stationary obviously!) - sometimes I can hear tones from pushing numbers on keypad, but usually not. Then nothing. From experimenting at home - the recipients phone rings but there is no audio to them or from them to me.
Have played with all possible settings on phone (set as headset/ hands free kit, remote SIM on /off) - no difference.
Tried with Nokia E71 - exactly the same
Tried with Motorola - no problem incoming and outgoing calls work fine
Has anyone else had similar problems with Nokia? Some research on the net suggests that quite a few problems pairing with car hands free kits and stereo headphones and that Nokia use a particular version of Bluetooth that is not necessarily compatible with all bluetooth devices.
Anyone have any greater knowledge on this issue? And as far as I am concerned, is there a 'fix' for my Nokia or should I just give up on it and try and swap for another make that works?
Cheers
Mike
