I have the autocomm 300 system along with the bluetooth dongle. I also have the Zumo 550.
I have it set up as follows: The phone is bluetooth connected to the zumo and then the zumo is bluetooth connected to the autocom dongle.
When I switch the bike on, everything connects as it should but when a call comes in on the phone I hear the ringtone, the music fades but when I answer all I get is interference and I have to drop the call. If I try to make a call out I get the same interference too.
I have had this problem for a while and it has been the same with several different Nokia phones and most recently Garmin gave me a new sat nav for a different problem so it suggests that my problem lies in the autocom unit or bluetooth dongle or the sat nav interface thingy.

Has anyone had a similar problem where they found the solution.

Thanks

Rob

their is a autocom lead you can buy which connects the autocom to sat nav, which is wot i have because i had same problem as you

I have a lead connecting the sat nav to the autocom already but AFAIK it is for the stereo sound with music.
My mate has the exact same set up and leads and he has no problem using the phone so it sounds to me like something simple as per usual but just need to figure out what.

The all-knowing GSRich told me to pair my phone direct to the Autocom and leave out the zumo and see what happens.

Obviously not a solution, but it may help you diagnose.

I have always struggled with Nokias, my mates Motorola works like a dream:nenau

The only problem with that is that you have to put your phone on automatic answer and that can be dangerous when the wife calls and realises you are on the bike when you should be in work or at home minding the kids.:D

Wrong, the dongle is set to auto answer any incoming calls, this test will show if the Autocom side of things work ok as they should which I am sure they are. All of the phone problems tended to be Garmin related imo
