help, I have wired my Motech tank bag, using the live feed from the back of the auxiliary socket under the seat on 1200gs and earth to the battery. i have put a din plug on the Autocom, when I plug the autocom into the Bag I do not get any power. I know there is power to the bag as i have pluggged in a socket which has a light and that works. am I doing something wrong?
p.s the Autocomm works fine when wired into the live feed from auxillary socket.

Have you got a voltage meter mate so you can make sure that you have got 12v coming from the socket? If the system works direct from a different power supply it can only be the tank bag connection at fualt.

I do not have a volt meter, but I will try the follwing to check.

1 - Connect the autocom via a din plug direct into the socket beneath the seat
2 - Connect the bag via a din plug direct into the socket benath the seat, then connect the Autocom into the bag, I will also plug in my phone chrger to see if that works.

No problems at all, I will keep an eye on this thread to see how you are getting on or you could always PM me if you want.
