I just bought an Autocom SPA to replace my old Pro 7. I have a Kenwood TK3101 radio. I had a lead to power the radio from the old Pro 7 which also linked to the PTT.

On reading the Autocom site and speaking to them when I ordered, I bought Autonomy parts 2356 and 2369 to connect the radio to the SPA.

On installing, it's obvious that the new setup does not provide power to the Kenwood as it's missing the positive and negative connectors.

So, how do I power my TK3101 from my new Autocom SPA?

So I have ordered a 12v to 9v converter and will use that to drop the voltage from the Autocom SPA to the 9v required for the TK3101. Will keep you posted.

Careful now, I tried to power a radio from the obvious 12 volt output on my Starcom. Its just cost me many beer tokens to put the damage right.

MY FAULT.

Its for anything, but its only a 12v output, no return, and I had used a normal 12v feed and return plug and blown the PCB.
