I am having trouble fitting the Autocom speakers into my Shoei Hornet-DS.

I know that the speakers MUST be positioned over the ear canal, but the cutouts in the helmet are far too far back, if I put the speakers into that cavity then they are right at the back of my ears.

Of course, individuals find different helmets either better or worse, but is there a choice of helmet that is recognised as accomodating the Autocom speakers an easier?

Failing that, what is the best alternative, Ultimate Ears ?

Thanks.

I had a similar problem.

I solved it by removing the cloth covers and the black plastic outer from the speakers themselves.

This mod makes them far smaller and less obtrusive and allows more accurate positioning. I cannot detect any loss in sound quality either

I found by positioning in the ear cut outs very near to the chinstrap did the trick for me :thumb
