Just some new info on the BMW R1200GS 2010 model try not to run any wires down the right hand side of the bike. Not sure where its coming from but major noise coming from the any leads that run down that side. Try to use the left side and stay clear 'best you can' of the alternator.

I have fitted 5 new GSA's and always get noise that side so after the first one i always fitted to left but just curious i ran a music lead round the right side and always get the crackle and rev's. Anyone else get this problem?

Yep. Exactly the same problem.

I ran the cables exactly where they were installed for the Pro 7 that I took off, and I had never any problems with that. Now I have put in the Automatic I can hear every sound the engine makes.

I sounds like its time to redo it all and re-route down the left as you suggest.

Hi Stu, Glad its not just me who has found this! Lets hope running down the left side fixes the noise issues! Not sure what BMW did on the 2010 model but ite wierd!
