Autocom Super Pro Automatic i phone

I have a Autocom Super Pro Automatic connected to a zumo 550 and an iphone...all works ok but when some one calls me on the phone it nearly deafens me ...have to tell them to hold the phone away so its not to loud how can i turn this down thanks

I had this with my old XDA2 and my bluetooth dongle. I went to Autocom (at their old location) and they tweaked the settings in the firmware.

TBH, it's still loud, but it used to be so loud that I would not have been able to concentrate on the road, in fact it was effing painful and even the Autocom chap winced when I demonstrated the problem, and he wasn't wearing the lid!

you not lower the volume with the buttons on the side of the iphone? I've got a similar setup and the volume controls on the phone still work during calls.

you can turn down the volume on the phone once it is connected to the zumo, and I take it youve turned down the riders volume, how about music and sat nav volume is that ok?
