Used to have a Starcom1, now i have an Autocom 200. The tour x has quite a large recess for your lobes, hence the speakers sit back a little.
Never had a problem with the starcom (i conclude that the starcom is a louder unit) with the volume turned to max on the unit and my mp3 player turned up to max (using earplugs). The autocom just doesnt seem as loud, speakers are in identical positions same settings on mp3 player etc etc....
Anyone else found this with a tour x? Anyone fixed it? My mp3 player can stand up to max volume all day long as i can power it from the bike, but can the speakers?
Considering it says on the tin easily audible with or without earplugs im a bit stuck as to how to get a better sound, apart from removing earplugs and suffering wind noise pain.
Anyone used the spacers autocom do?
Any ideas? anyone? anyone?
Anyone from autocom wanna comment?

I'm looking to buy a mobile set to be placed in a tank bag as I have two bikes and don't want to fork out for two systems.
