What did you pay ?

Would you recommend the company that fitted it ?

I saw some at The NEC (Cordular) and they looked very nice, bit pricey though.

You need a fair bit of head room above the top of the door frame for the mechanism.

I've got a roller door. You do need a fair amount of head room. I had to put an extra layer of block above the steel to make up the space. I got a aluminium type, with insulation sandwiched in the middle.

Can't remember how much I paid, but didn't get much change out of a couple of grand for a double garage. Cost is (obviously) a function of width and height.

I have the below doors x 2 Seceuro Glide.

and they are very good, your welcome to have a look if you want ( I;ll supply the tea) as you dont live too far away.

They cost according to the invoice £1050 each fitted with a warrenty for two years for the doors and 5 years for the motor. They work via a small transmitter . I dont even have to get of my bike to open the doors

Mine were fitted in a day and UK Door fitted them from Peterborough; fitted for 3 years and no problems.

"Marantec Comfort 250" american double electric roller door, very quiet and only problem in 5 years was a new battery for the zapper.
Rails are the lowest points and are about a foot from the ceiling.
We found the roller types better than the up and over type doors.

Both my garage doors are automated rollers. Wouldn't have it any other way. I love being able to have the door opened by the time I reach it and then ride or drive straight in.

Didn't go for the automatic version as it takes about a foot off the width of the door, but the head height required is only 9inches.
