Does anyone know where can I buy an autoswitch for GS1150R in Europe? I read that SPC(?) makes them. What is SPC? I live in Portugal.
Thanks

I think people were paying £25 inc of delivery and any UK taxes for the cyclegadgets direct from US. Call them or email them they are very efficient, friendly and now very experienced at sending these things every-which-way. Mine was delivered to my hotel when I was in Washington!

Price quoted by SPC for an Autoswitch

'£40 to you sir and we have only 5 left in stock'

add p&p or trip to SPC in the end I chased round the net and got the 3 I was after for $91 Air Mail.

As our colonial cousins say 'you do the math'.

:D :tigger

Sh't, went to SPC yesterday and bought one for £40, but then he did spend quite a bit of time explaining the wiring, etc so shouldn't complain

OH YES!!!!

The more I buy the cheaper they become, the more profit I can make, the more I can buy.....etc,etc.

Sorry I hadn't disabled the UK dealer settings on my computer.

Here is another one, no names no pack drill as they say in the desert.

Leather jeans-buy in for £60 sell for £149.99
Leather jacket-buy in for £109 sell for £199.99.

However if you are a valued/special/buying a £000s' bike they will do a deal and knock 10-15% off.

'Oh ambassador you are spoiling us with this Squirrel sh*t wrapped in tin foil'.

Sorry to really p*** people off but for anybody reading this thread fitting the autoswitch is straighforward if you sit down and think about it for a while. It took me - a non-electrician- to solder mine and fit to my lights in one morning. Worked first time. Yippee

A voltmeter helps to identify the correct switched live feed - I found the directions wrong - it was the lead next to the one they suggested. The (thin) cancel lead is correct.

Use cable ties to lash it up at the back of the ABS piping.

I didn't bother with the LED so it's bundled under the tank as well.

SPC are asking double the price - you can get them from the States in 10days. £40 is truly extortionate for what you get - its the size of an After Eight mint and lots of wiring.

Or maybe from SPC. I've got some mates that want one as well.
Thank you

Switches arrived today, had to pay a customs fee of £12 so that made it £65 for 3.
