What say everyone for an 11 a.m. meet at the Argos car park opposite Sainsbury's, Leven. Head off about 11.15 (in case of late comers), a run along the East Neuk/ NE Fife and meet up with G.C. for lunch at Abernethy. After lunch we can decide if we're going to try the Pitmedden off road run or otherwise further road runs about the country...

Looking forward to it :thumb

Lunch details are on G.C.'s thread

I could meet you up somewhere en route as I am coming from the Borders. I'll be travelling up the A7. Best meet up would probably be by MacDonalds at the Forth Road Bridge.

Otherwise, just meet up at Leven.

Kai
Thats fine for me 10ish ok

Ride Oot Today (5th November)

A fair old squad turned up for this wee Run around the North East of the Kingdom of Fife. To start off with: Oonyack, Den, Arcboutant, SpyInTheCamp (Kai), Forry, bgfinlay and me met up in Leven and had a wee bimble along the coast as far as Upper Largo. We then headed over the Largo Law hill to St Andrews where we picked up the Cupar road and had a run cross country over to the Newburgh/Perth road. We stopped at the Cree's Inn, Abernethy where G.C. and Floyd were patiently waiting on us. We were then joined by Mr and Mrs Rustle.

A rather enjoyable lunch and craic was followed by a run into Pitmedden woods for a wee bit of light off-roading. Forry, Oonyack and Floyd were slightly more adventurous than the rest of us and their fun wasn't quite as "light off-roading". We lost contact with Arcboutant here. Hope you got home OK, Alan...

A run over to Auchtermuchty saw us part company with the northern boys: G.C., Floyd and Oonyack had a good few hours journey home ahead of them. The remainder of us headed back to Leven, where we parted company.

A most enjoyable day. Not many miles done on the actual run itself but plenty of miles covered by guys from the Highlands/Islands and Borders just to meet up :thumb

Thanks to everyone for the craic and good company. A grand day oot :beerjug:

Here are a few pics from the day...

Nae worries next time (hopefully down the borders way.

Nice photos. The last three look to be on the Falkland to Leslie hill road, are they? They bring back memories of my childhood home, just over the hedge to the right of the first of the three photos.

I headed to the Borders today, it was a bit blowy, so hats off to those who had a long run home to the west. :bow
