Well my new 1200gs arrived today:clap
I was looking to mount the auxillary driving lamps (touratech)from my 1150 on my 1200.
I think i could adapt a migsel mount so i could mount the lights, but i just think that at £90 it is more than i wish to pay.
Just wondered if anyone had fashioned a way of doing this.

Steve

I have a similar problem. Having bought the Migsel light bar for the GSA I want to mount the OEM aux lights but have not found a suitable fitting yet. If anyone has sourced such an item I would really like to know.

Sorry for the slight hijack - I misread your post first time around.

For OEM lights have you seen the BMW ones for a GS, can do a pic if you want.

Hope this helps.

They look pretty good,
I managed to adapt the origional 1150gsa touratech brackets,if i say so myself they look very good, will post some pics when lights are wired and the bike is back together.

Aparently the mounts for the OEM fog lights aren't that strong if you ride off road and might drop the bike at low speed a lot. Good if you stick to tarmac or fire trails (and stay upright) but bad if you go rut running :augie as they are just a tad too fragile

like those bad boys how much may i ask and is there a part number

Al

Part numbers are:

Left 71607715831
Right 71607715832

Only have the price in the US which is $73.38 but if you ring your local dealer they will be able to confirm it. :thumb
