Hi, can anybody please tell me if they have fitted aux lights to there engine bars (i have an 1150adv) or this a bad idea due to vibration and if so the place to get decent brackets cheers.

Try www.migsel.com I have one of his light bars and I'm really happy.

Alternatively Les Wassall does a nice mount for the MicroDE's.

I wouldn't mount to the engine bars personally.

... spotlights mounted on the engine bars of my 1100 for several years, never popped a bulb despite all the doom mongers saying they wouldn't last

I've had my standard 1150 'Wassaled' and can recommend them. First class piece of kit and Les also fitted then VERY professionally.

On the other hand, BMW mount aux lights on the 1200GSA crash bar without any known problems.
