Auxiliary light switch

Can someone who's had the auxiliary lights installed please post a picture of the switch as fitted to the base of the lh mirror?

From your pic, it looks like there's a blank for another button above the aux light button, is that correct?

Yep, mirrors the one beneath.

I was really happy with the OEM LED but had a little leftover in the "Farkle Bank" and do plenty of night time riding on country lanes.

Have to say, am really impressed with the Aux LED's, they don't do much for "throw" but is now a very broad body of light.

Very good so they are.

That's v helpful thanks. In fact my interest is not for the aux lights per se, I'm looking for a neat switching solution for something else, and it seems that the autoswitches that used to work on the old indicator cancel button don't work with the 2013+ bikes. So my thinking is to just get the aux light switch and use that, because of the neat oe look.

My experience of the led headlight is that it is very sensitive to correct adjustment, and like others, mine came out of the factory set too low. Once set up correctly I find it pretty good.

Most be something to do with Germans being shorter/taller, heavier/lighter or shortsighted on average.

I mean, I'm not a Scientist....

Although I read somewhere (on here, I think) that they assume the standard rider weight is 80kg. As I am, ahem, more of a standard tosser size, you'd have thought that the additional weight would throw the beam too high, rather than too low.
