Has anyone either found reasonably priced lighting brackets or made their own?

I know Nippy Norman sells some but £50 + for a painted mild steel bar to mount some lights?? Has to be a better value option out there.

I purchased an aluminum bar 600mm x 35mm x 3mm for 6 quid delivered. I will make my own by copying a design.

eBay is your friend

Rugged Roads do an excellent light bar, I've fitted one to a customer bike and it was superb!

Have either of you designed and fitted one to an LC model yet and if so what mounting points have you used?

I used the mounting points in the headstock using some long bolts to mount the light bar to,and used some light alloy bar to fix from the mounting bar to a point at the side of the beak.

The plastic BMW one is cheap & easy to fit.
I'm sure it can be adapted to fit most lights with a few adjustments

I used the BM light bar and suspended Les's micro hid lamps using a stainless steel M8 coach bolt. The square bit of the coach bolt fit snugly in the top slot of the light bar so the bolt does not turn when you do up the nut.

I think ours are excellent value at under £50 :)

Had the bike in for it's first service today and asked about the BMW spotlight bracket, with fitting bolts it came in at under €60 (or £50stg) so ordered one up.
