I have a pair of PIAA Auxiliary lights on my GS1100. The only problem with them is that they are either on high beam or off. I was thinking that I might get them wired up to follow the high/dip beam on my main headlight, but to isolate them whe I don't need them. The thing is, I'm a complete dipstick when it comes to electricals: it makes my head hurt thinking about it :banghead:

Does anyone know of someone reputable in N London (or Essex) who could sort it out?

the method i chose was to use the 'sidelight' to activate the spots on my bike.

this I believe gives you the best of all worlds.

the spots can be switched on with the side light. dip or main beam (or off completelly) Mine has a seperate switch mounted on the handlebars.

I use mine as running lights during the day and to 'fill out' the rather inadequate 'dip' at night.

Im sure you'll get an answer on an electrician before too long.

I know there's a very reputable (at least as far as bikes go :augie ) GS / BMW specialist in London who I'm sure could sort this out - our very own Steptoe (The GS Shop):
