My 2016 GS has the BMW auxiliary lights fitted to the BMW bracket.

However tight I nip up the nut and bolt that holds them on they move and after most rides are pointing up or down. This seems to be a design fault in there there is no give in the tabs on the lights where the bolts go through so they don't flex at all and therefore will not grip the backet tightly.

Anyone found a solution to this problem ?

I like the visibility these lights give you but cannot use them because I know after a few miles they will either dazzle people or light the road 2 feet from my front wheel wonderfully.

Yes I know some of you hate them but correctly adjusted they add visibility without being annoying to other traffic. IMHO

Mine are fine, maybe yours are not assembled correctly!

mine do the same drives me nuts,as yet not thought of a permanent solution but must get round to it

Woody, mine are ok but if they weren't I'd fit a thin serrated washer between the movable lamp part and the fixed bracket e.g. in place of the thin plain washer on the outer part of the assembly. That would grip the two plastic parts well. Cheers.
