auxilliary socket cut off

Is the cut off ampage adjustable at the auxilliary socket under the seat? mine is unable to run a BMW heated vest for very long.

The canbus aux sockets will cut-off over 5 amps. Sounds as tho' your heated jacket is drawing more than this.

Easiest thing to do is position another din type socket somewhere convenient and take the feed to it from across the battery. Use a 10 amp fuse placed close to the +ve terminal.

Do a search, there's plenty on this. Oh, and check your jacket out...

Thanks for that, think I need to do the ohms law calculations on the jacket :confused
