Was looking for nice flip-up with comms to chat with No:2. Chose Nolan n103 with n-com. WHAT A MISTAKE! The Hemet is so noisy after 60 km/h and at 120 km/h you can't even hear No:2 anymore. I ride GSA with screen to max height and am 190cm myself.

Any suggestions how to reduce wind noise in this helmet (and yes, I have an additional screen - touratech, and I did try all of the screen positions.

There must be something that could be done to helmet itself to reduce the wind noise. Other than that, it is a perfect helmet.

Thanks for any constructive advice!

But if you use earplugs, then you can not hear anything over n-com?

If you don't wear earplugs, you'll very soon suffer irreversible losses to your hearing.

I suggest you might want to consider using filtered earplugs. I can hear the voice instructions from my Nav IV inside my noisy Shoei Hornet via a cheap Chinese Bluetooth system while wearing Alpine ones.

Had one of those. And a 102. And a 101. The N103 was the worst of the lot. Forget about fixing the issues with it: you can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig!

The solution is an easy one, albeit expensive: I bought a BMW System 6.

I have an Autocom speaker system mounted in the N103 and even though I am almost deaf in my left ear, I can hear clearly all that comes over the system with earplugs in. :nenau :nenau

Or a N104 which I think is better than any other N***
