B&B Guide?

will be traveling around the humberside/yorkshire area for a few days later this month. is there a m/cycle friendly b&b guide or small hotel guide available? we were going to stay with bro in law on the coast but now wifey wants to ride around and just stop where ever we end up. any help would be appreciated. thanks.

As discussed in other threads, even in the UK, it is very unusual to find accommodation that does not welcome motorcyclists. As a group we tend to have pretty good disposable income, eat well and drink like fish. Compare that with ramblers who get their muddy boots everywhere and bring their own sandwiches and flask of tea.

As a resource, I find http://www.smoothhound.co.uk/112.html to be excellent. However, if you are leaving your choice of B&B until the last minute then go to a tourist office. They will find you somewhere.

Kettlewell in Wharfedale is a nice village with several inns or B&B to choose from. I used the Kings Head. http://www.kettlewell.info/accommodation.cfm
