Back fire on throttle closing

Hello . Looking for a little advice on Back fire on throttle closing .
I have a GS 1150 and John's tuning chip stage 9 I think . Straight through Y piece . Standard exhaust .

Every thing was fine then this summer when I got her out is when it all started . First it was a little bang here and there now it's quite loud .

Any help much appreciated .

I can get my 1150 to backfire on demand if need be. Which can be very useful for scaring old ladies as you ride past,
