Hello lads
I was wondering if you could give me some advice about where do you reckon I should look to sort this out or what else can I do.
I have the bike about 5 years its a 2002, 1150gsa with about 151000 kms, ride all year to work every day, I wash it once every 5 years needed or not and it never lets me down, except once last year dead battery :-) but...

A few weeks ago, bike was standing out side and it pissed rain, rain stopped I went to go home, on the way A car pulled me over to tell me back lights weren't working.
So I turned on hazards and kept going, next day when the rain stopped I changed fuse and it was working again.
Tonight same story, pissing rain dark and no back light, fuse must be blown again.

Twice in such a short time, I was thinking water is getting in somewhere to cause the fuse to blow , and the feckin winter is just starting :)
Tomorrow if its not raining I'll try see if I can follow the wiring to see any thing weird or broken oh and replace the fuse, and maybe take a look at the back light casing and so on, its a led light.
thanks in advance for any advice

Check that your pilot light is also working.
If it isn't it'll be one of the wires broken in the short section of ignition loom that runs from under the ignition to the plug under the tank..

Thanks for the replies,
Started to check the wires, and when the light started to work we found the problem.

it was the green wire that was taped to the white wire, must have been the previous person who connected the led light.

When We took off the light to test the cables couldn't get at the wires,
that's when we started to look for a join in the cable and that's when we found a bunch of wires taped together.

Used me mates power meter thing to check the cables and saw the power was going to the fuse box.
But its working now :)
