Took my first ride of the year this week - the last ride of my GSA was in early November...........snow! We have not seen the grass since November and still won't see it until the end of April. Before moving here I had no idea just how I would develop withdrawal symptons. So when the needle rose to -1oC on Sunday I fired the old girl up - great - I did a quick 50 miles amongst the amazing scenery that we have.
Folks, if you ever fancy a trip different to the usual stuff in Europe you would be amazed how the roads are over here - more than half of the roads are un-paved and un-policed. The summers are fantastic and the exchange rate is not to be sniffed at.
Anyway, good to be back on the bike...........though we are expecting more snow overnight - damm!
