Currently have a 1290 adv r which i use for everything from green lanes , trips and commuting. Just added a 890 rally to the garage . So decided there is too much overlap between them and move back to a bmw 1250 gsa , looking at new or used .

Dealer was telling me that from 21 on the only thing to change year on year is the colour. Is that correct?

Aesthetically yes, no changes. But there are some control unit differences that you wouldn't necessarily notice.

Ok thanks was fancying a white rally colour but now favouring the current blue version.

Almost got a deal done on a TE with heated seats! Anything I need to add on top !

The new blue Rallye with the black tank is nice. If I wouldn't have already bought a Trophy in Sept, I'd have gone for that.

I didn't get heated seats as it was a bike that was already in the system but it wasn't a deal breaker. There's not much to add to a GSA TE to be honest, but i've added a couple of things since, myself, Like blind spot detection, electric windscreen, Wunderlich seats etc along with the mudsling and things like that. I already had an Akravpovic from my previous GS. Also added cast wheels.

I got the Akra new, but without the heat shield, for £500. if I hadn't I wouldn't have paid the full price.
